Hot German Potato Salad

Hot German Potato Salad
2 lbs. red potatoes, boiled, peeled and cubed
1/4 c. olive oil
1/2 c. minced onion
1 green pepper cubed
1 red pepper cubed
1 lb. polish sausage, sliced
3/4 c. white wine vinegar
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. celery seeds
Salt & pepper to taste
Heat oilve oil in skillet. Saute onion until tender. Stir in potatoes, green and red peppers, cook until just crisp tender. Remove from skillet. Cook sausage in skillet adding more oil if necesary. Combine vinegar, sugar, and celery seeds. Stir into sausage with potatoes and pepper mixture. Heat & stir gently. Season to taste. Makes about 6 servings.
This will serve a lot of people if recipe is doubled. Can be made ahead and refrigerate. Reheat just before serving. I think this is from the Los Angeles Times Sunday newspaper. They have great recipes from Southern Califormia restaurants.
